It is said that it does not matter how, or where, or when to start, but the important thing is to start.
The Chambers are a space where ideas, interests, purposes and consensus converge and it is quite a challenge to be able to carry out all this in times of limited contact (pandemic).
Through Pau and Juli we received a specific brief that asked for a communication strategy for a series of virtual events for a very important Chamber at national level, which needed to re-launch itself and be able to show both members and society, everything that they had been doing, their work and essence. That’s how we started to walk this path together with CAMARCO, the Argentine Chamber of Construction, having this request as a goal but in the process we found other opportunities:
- Invite those who were always considered uncreative to create
- Break with organizational silos
- Show a new way of doing and online
- Make decisions collaboratively (and enable that on the team)
- Empower the team and give them autonomy
In order to cover all this, we went little by little. It wasn’t all of a sudden. It was a 7-month process where we designed an umbrella concept for the events platform, which could communicate/show the new relaunch of the Chamber. Then the communication strategy for each of the events was designed, and we also accompanied the Chamber team to carry out that strategy, adding value and creativity in each one of them.
As we progressed, the team meetings with Mural stopped being something “rare” to become something familiar and natural (so much so that several members of the team have become experts at using the tool 🤓). Also, the teams were able to incorporate the idea of collaborative and interdisciplinary work: someone who was dedicated to leading training teams, added a lot in issues related to communication and creativity.
We confirmed that a different work structure per project is possible, which allows showing the full potential of people and reinforces the importance of teamwork.
CAMARCO was the space that allowed us to show all the faces of Say Hi! We were able to work with communication, with innovation and also with training.
Thank you Pau and Juli for allowing us to show our full potential.
Thank you CAMARCO for having the courage to take that first step in that work breakfast :).
